IMPROVED WORK WITH TRACING
Analysis of electrical network diagrams is a routine but essential task when preparing switching operations, determining power supply sources, identifying connections with consumers or transformer substations, and other operations. Operational dispatch personnel frequently encounter the need to repeatedly perform network tracing during their shifts when carrying out these tasks. The repetitive nature of this task, especially when working with complex, redundant networks, leads to time loss and increases the likelihood of errors during visual comparison of results. For example, a specialist who performed tracing to identify all consumers on an outgoing feeder or to locate network normal split points was forced either to memorise its configuration or to record the results using external means.

After analysing the cyclical nature of these actions, we introduced into the topology processor of CK-11 SCADA a mechanism for managing the colour profile of tracings, as well as saving them with subsequent automatic loading upon the user's next authorisation.

Unlike temporary sessions, saved tracings remain in the system and are visualised upon the next workspace launch, providing immediate immersion into the task context. To prevent information overload and ensure ergonomics, the system categorises tracings into temporary and saved. The solution architecture also provides for detailed configuration of tracing colours, minimising the risks of ambiguous diagram interpretation.

The implementation of this functionality is aimed at structurally reducing routine operations. Personnel gain a tool for systematising the results of topology analysis, while colour marking configuration ensures instant recognition of network configuration, which is critical for decision-making under time constraints.
