AUTOMATED ANALYSIS OF EMERGENCY OUTAGE CAUSES
Having studied the manual operations existing at our clients' sites, we decided to implement in the upcoming CK-11 update a tool for automatic generation of an operational summary of emergency outages in 6–20 kV networks. The new functionality is intended for personnel responsible for analysing the causes and duration of power supply disruptions to consumers.

On a daily basis, dispatch personnel at grid companies record dozens of emergency outages in distribution networks. Manual collection, verification, and consolidation of information for generating final reports typically takes no less than several hours at the end of each shift for duty personnel, creating risks of human error, data loss, and delays in providing reports to management and supervisory authorities.

The new functionality will ensure end‑to‑end automation of the process. Algorithms will collect structured data from various sources, process it, and display it in a specialised report.

Expected benefits:

Reduction of reporting labour costs by up to 80%. A ready summary will be generated with a single click, eliminating prolonged manual work;

Increased data reliability and integrity. Automated event correlation minimises risks associated with the human factor and ensures coverage of all incidents;

Reduced analysis time for cause‑and‑effect relationships. The consolidated summary will provide a tool for instant recognition of recurring events, problematic network sections, and incorrect operation of relay protection devices.

The implemented functionality will become another step towards improving the quality of analytical and strategic task resolution for our clients, directly impacting the achievement of target reliability indicators for consumer power supply.
