EXPANDED THE LIST OF SUPPORTED METERING DEVICES
Polling installed metering devices from different manufacturers, where modern intelligent devices coexist with outdated controllers, traditionally creates operational costs. Incompatibility of communication protocols forces the use of individual software gateways or hardware signal converters. Each such solution requires separate development, configuration, and subsequent maintenance, increasing system complexity, the number of points of failure, and the total cost of ownership. The integration process for new equipment is prolonged, and personnel are forced to work with disparate interfaces, increasing the risk of errors and complicating operational data analysis.Built-in support for polling via the Modbus TCP protocol, integrated directly into the core of CK.Advanced Metering HES — the system for accounting of various resource types — eliminates the need for software from different manufacturers, reducing the deployment time of energy resource metering systems. The solution, which includes support for the Modbus TCP protocol, is addressed to engineers responsible for creating comprehensive data collection systems from various equipment: electricity, gas, and water meters, programmable relays, and data concentrators.
The new functionality is already available in the current version of CK.Advanced Metering HES and will be included in subsequent updates. Integration with devices from various manufacturers has become more accessible, enabling enterprises to gradually modernise their equipment fleet and use a unified, scalable platform capable of working with real infrastructure.
