At one of the distribution grid districts of Rosseti Lenenergo PJSC, pilot operation of the AutoFLISR application has been completed. The service underwent testing in real-world conditions for over a year and has now been transitioned to full-scale industrial operation.
In the event of power grid equipment tripping due to relay protection operation, AutoFLISR autonomously identified the damaged network section based on incoming telemetry data and topological connectivity information derived from the CIM model. The service operated in dispatcher advisory mode, automatically generating switching plans for emergency situations. The application formulated options for fault isolation and power restoration to consumers, taking into account permissible equipment overloads and other criteria.
«Our product is desired by customers and they see practical value in it – this is the best recognition of the hard work of our company's engineers. During its early stages, clients called AutoFLISR "the cherry on top of the CK-11 cake." It appears that both the cake and the cherry can now satisfy even the most discerning taste,» said Sergey Shunaev, Senior Engineer of the Electrical Networks Projects Department at Monitor Electric.
