DEVELOPMENT OF THE AUTOMATED PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM OF THE SVERDLOVENERGO GRID CONTROL CENTER
The expansion of the automated process control system of the Sverdlovsk Grid Control Center of the Sverdlovenergo branch of IDGC of Urals OJSC, built on the CK-11 platform in 2018, has been completed. As part of the project, an additional 4,000 transformer substations and distribution points were added to the distribution network information model, more than 8,000 telemetry parameters from eight production divisions were integrated, and two control zones were created to enable independent operation of the operational personnel of the Central Electric Networks production division and the Grid Control Center. This ensured support for the operation of two control centers within a single automated process control system.
New functions for maintaining the electronic operational logbook and switching forms were also deployed, and access to SCADA data was provided through a web interface. Training was delivered to operational personnel and system administrators on working with the updated CK-11.
Following its commissioning into permanent operation, the automated process control system replaced a foreign-made system previously used at the Grid Control Center.
