CK-11 ELECTRONIC LOGBOOKS PUT INTO COMMERCIAL OPERATION AT YUGO-ZAPADNAYA CHPP
In January 2023, the deployment of a CK-11 platform software suite was completed, automating the maintenance of operational logbooks and other technological documentation at the Yugo-Zapadnaya CHPP in St. Petersburg. The automated system runs on the Russian Astra Linux OS platform and the PostgreSQL DBMS.As part of the project, the electronic operational logbook «YoZh-2», which had been in use at Yugo-Zapadnaya CHPP for over 10 years, was replaced with a new modern toolset, which additionally enabled the creation and tracking of: operational documentation for work performed under work permits and crew orders, including work on thermal mechanical equipment with consideration of gas-hazardous and hot work; technical and administrative orders issued by management personnel; as well as tracking of switching forms, equipment defects, and portable grounding devices. Additionally, a new reporting and analytical subsystem for CK-11 electronic logbooks is currently undergoing pilot testing at Yugo-Zapadnaya CHPP JSC.
The project results were highly praised at the 5th International Scientific and Technical Conference «Modern Challenges of Power Industry Automation», held at the All-Russian Thermal Engineering Institute (VTI OJSC, Moscow), and published in the journal «Electric Power Stations» (2023, Issue No. 1, pp. 50–53).
We thank the staff of Yugo-Zapadnaya CHPP for their active participation in the deployment process, their sound ideas and development proposals, and we wish them successful operation.
