On March 17–18, Minsk hosted the international conference on the development and application of Common Information Model standards «CIMC 2022». Monitor Electric was one of the three organizers of the conference, together with its Belarusian partners, Energopromis and InnoTech Solutions.

The event was dedicated to the release of the Belenergo GPO enterprise standard «Definition of a Unified Information Model of the Electric Network in Conjunction with a Unified System of Model Object Identification and a Unified Master Data Management System».

In addition to the organizers, the conference was attended by more than 60 specialists from the regional power systems of the Republic of Belarus, as well as representatives of Rosseti and the System Operator of the Russian Federation.

Our company's specialists delivered presentations on the practical application of the Common Information Model (CIM) in projects for the creation and operation of automated dispatch and technological management systems for electric networks and power systems. During the practical session, the CK-11 platform was used to demonstrate tools for creating and maintaining a common information model as the foundation for integration and shared use of SCADA/EMS/DMS/OMS/DTS application functions.

The conference participants discussed approaches to selecting the most effective mechanisms for using CIM standards to integrate existing and newly created information systems.
