The CK.Outage Requests software product now features the ability to control consumer notifications regarding upcoming outages. This new functionality provides grid company personnel with an additional tool for operational control of regulatory compliance, helping to reduce the enterprise's reputational and commercial risks.

The approval and execution of requests for work in electrical installations requires compliance with the consumer notification regulations. Previously, the outage request management system lacked a single point for verifying the fact of notification dispatch. As a result, risks existed of performing work before legally required consumer notifications had been sent. Such incidents lead not only to consumer complaints but also to fines from regulatory authorities.

The new CK.Outage Requests interface includes an attribute displaying the notification status. For requests containing a formed list of consumers, the system visualises the notification process. Additionally, an integrated hyperlink provides quick access to the corresponding notification log for detailed information. A filter has also been implemented to sort requests by notification status.

The implemented functionality will allow personnel to monitor the consumer notification process and promptly identify requests with violated notification regulations before work commences.
