Monitor Electric specialists have successfully implemented a function for streaming video from surveillance cameras installed at substations/transformer substations/distribution points directly within the facility passport, providing users who have already transitioned to the Linux operating system with a convenient and effective monitoring tool.

Previously, operational personnel were forced to switch between the SCADA interface and video surveillance systems, which increased the risk of errors during operations such as monitoring the execution of remote control commands, taking readings from analogue instruments, visual inspection of equipment status, and similar tasks. This slowed response to emergency situations and increased staff workload.

The new function loads video directly into the facility passport via a URL link connected to external sources (video servers or IP cameras). Instant access to video camera information without switching between different interfaces accelerates operational personnel response and optimises workflow.

The new functionality will be available to all CK-11 users in the Mag Terminal application upon the next system update.
