SUPPORT FOR ASTRA LINUX 1.7 IS ENDING: IMPORTANT DETAILS AND HOW WE CAN HELP
According to the operating system manufacturer Astra Linux, support for OS version 1.7 will end on 1 January 2027. To mitigate risks, Monitor Electric recommends that clients operating CK-11 and our other software products plan their migration to the new operating system version.

According to the recommendations from the Astra Linux manufacturer, to avoid errors and abnormal situations, migration to version 1.8 is only possible with a full reinstallation of the operating system. Monitor Electric technical support specialists can assist in performing these works while ensuring uninterrupted CK-11 operation.

It should be noted that Astra Linux version 1.8 does not include a DBMS suitable for industrial solutions. As an alternative, we recommend using the Tantor DBMS or Postgres Pro DBMS. For systems at critical information infrastructure facilities (CII facilities), we recommend using DBMS versions certified by the FSTEC of Russia. For systems that are not CII facilities, the embedded non-certified DBMS from the CK-11 platform distribution may be used.
