CK-11 MADE A GREAT IMPRESSION ON ENERGY SPECIALISTS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF MALI AT A GRID COMPANY
A delegation from the Republic of Mali, led by Minister of Energy and Sanitation Tiémoko Traoré, visited the Network Control Centre and training facility of JSC «Grid Company» (Tatarstan). The guests were introduced to the successful experience of organising operational and technological management based on the CK-11 software suite.

Representatives of the Grid Company demonstrated the results achieved through the implementation of new technologies, and spoke about the use of the SCADA system, electronic logbooks, calculation and other modules of CK-11 for solving tasks such as repair scheduling, operational switching, regime calculations, short-circuit current calculations, relay protection setting selection, as well as obtaining and using data from individual metering devices for operational management purposes. Tatarstan energy specialists highlighted how modern solutions improve customer service quality, reduce losses, and enhance network stability.

«We took the opportunity to learn how the dispatching management system is organised in Tatarstan in order to understand which elements we can apply in our system to improve the quality of power supply. We came to the conclusion that rapid development in this direction is only possible through digitalisation. It is digitalisation that will lead to a rapid breakthrough in providing electricity to the people of Mali and will allow us to create new jobs,» emphasised Tiémoko Traoré following the visit.

Sergey Mazur, Marketing Director of Monitor Electric, speaking about the joint experience of working with the Grid Company, noted that Tatarstan is a special platform in terms of engineering design: «We started the project of digitalising dispatching and technological management back in 2019 and realised that this is a hub of best technologies and best minds in the electric power industry. Our colleagues from the Grid Company are distinguished by an exceptionally high level of commitment and competence, so the results achieved are truly something to be proud of.»

The visit of the African delegation was part of the XVII International Economic Forum «Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum-2026.» The organisation of the visit to the Grid Company's Network Control Centre was supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. The meeting became an important step towards strengthening international ties and exchanging experience in the energy sector.
