NEW OFFICE OF THE SMOLENSK BRANCH OF MONITOR ELECTRIC
The Smolensk branch — one of the largest and oldest in the company — has moved to a new spacious office. With an area of over 1,000 m², the new premises can accommodate 60+ employees.

This division of Monitor Electric has historically been a leading centre of competence in the development, implementation, and support of calculation and analytical applications as well as other technological solutions. For over 20 years, the branch team has been working on complex engineering challenges:
- Power system modelling
- Automated fault location and switching management in electrical networks
- Development of electronic logbooks and a request management system for equipment outage scheduling
- Simulator-based personnel training

The core of the team has from the very beginning consisted of faculty members and graduates of the Smolensk branch of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI). This continuity has been preserved to this day: we select strong MPEI students during their university studies, and the branch is distinguished by a large number of graduates with honours degrees.

«The housewarming of the Smolensk branch is a natural continuation of our corporate commitment to improving the quality of workspaces. I am confident that this will help our colleagues work even more efficiently and with greater inspiration on the key challenges the company addresses for its clients,» noted Vasily Kasyanov, HR Director of Monitor Electric. He also added that the workplace development programme will be extended to other branches.
