Resilience is ensured through the application of new algorithms for determining the role of a CK-11 domain in a multi-domain configuration.

If a CK-11 domain loses connectivity with another domain in an MDS (inter-domain synchronisation) session, upon supervisor restart, it will assign itself the same role that other supervisors in the same domain have previously assigned to themselves. In the absence of connectivity with other domains, the supervisor will assign itself the role recorded in the database domain settings. This solution significantly reduces the number of manual operations for system administrators.

A mismatch may occur between the assigned role and the role stored in the database. In such cases, the administrator will see a warning in the CK Node Management application.
