In such situations, each department records only its own portion of the work as a separate entry in the corresponding log. The absence of a single point of control often results in the dispatcher or responsible engineer lacking an operational overview of the entire work cycle.

The electronic «Defect Log» now features a work tracking mechanism designed to coordinate actions when addressing complex, multi-component defects.

The system automatically collects data on all work registered for a piece of equipment, displaying in the defect card their current status and corresponding record numbers. Additionally, the validation algorithm blocks the closure of a defect when there are outstanding related works, accompanied by an appropriate warning.

The new functionality not only eliminates the need for manual cross-referencing of data from disparate records but also establishes a systematic approach to the work of repair services, while making it more effective to forecast workloads for repair teams.
