START OF NEW GENERATION STATE ESTIMATION SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

An agreement about co-development of a new generation power system state estimation software has been reached between Monitor Electric and V.L. Prihno, the creator of the widely used in Russia software suite COSMOS.

The new program will be based on the algorithms, which effectiveness has been proved at Russian and CIS, modern measurement types and Common Information Model (CIM). It will become the basis for building power grid applications (EMS, DMS), working in real-time and on-line circuit, supporting operator’s decision-making.
